PattyShop is a household shopping, pantry, recipe, and cooking app. The live app is atpattyshop.app. This website is the public brochure.

Who to contact

Questions: [email protected]or [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account: email, password (held by Firebase Authentication), optional display name.
  • Household lists: shopping, pantry, cooking presets, recipes, settings, and an activity feed of who changed what.
  • On your device: local settings and timers so the app works offline.
  • Optional: browser notifications if you turn them on; feedback you send by email.

Why

To run the account, keep one household in sync, show the activity feed, and (if you opt in) remind you about expiry. We do not sell data or run ads. Firebase Analytics is not turned on in the app.

Who sees it

People you invite into a household can see shared lists and your name or email on members and activity. Google Firebase stores Auth, Firestore, and Hosting. Email verification and password-reset messages are sent by Firebase.

Where

Firebase may process data in the United States and other Google regions. Confirm the Firestore location in the Firebase console and name it here when you lock it.

How long

Account and personal settings until you delete the account. Shared household data stays with remaining members if you leave. If you are the last member, the household is deleted with your account.

Your choices

You can edit your name and settings in the app, export lists as CSV, and delete your account under Settings → Account. Household members see your email unless you set a display name (they may still see email on the member list).

Complaints

You can contact us first. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to a data protection authority (for example the ICO in the UK, your EU supervisory authority, or the Information Commissioner in Jamaica).
